Lola Love Letter will offer a "Chalk Lettering for Dad" class on Tuesday, June 13, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Trellis Marketplace, 153 E. High St., Elizabethtown.

During the class, attendees will learn about creating hand-lettered designs using chalk, including how to choose the right chalk, how to create different effects with chalk and how to transfer designs onto surfaces. By the end of the class, attendees will have a unique and personalized gift that they can give to the special father figure in their life.

The class will be led by Cecile Madonna, owner of Lola Love Letter. She is a hand lettering artist with a background in graphic design. The host will be Charley Montgomery, owner of Trellis Marketplace, a collective of more than 30 local vendors. Coffee, tea and a small cafe menu will be available courtesy of the Groovy Bean Cafe.
