Open Door Bible Church to host VBS

Open Door Bible Church (ODBC), 200 Nissley Drive, Middletown, welcomes the community to a free vacation Bible school (VBS) from Monday, June 12, through Friday, June 16, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. for all children ages 4 through 12.

While preregistration is not required, parents or guardians will need to fill out a registration card on the first night that their children attend. Children will only be dismissed to their predesignated pickup personnel. Each of the ODBC volunteers who are helping with children have completed the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services forms.

The theme for this year's VBS is "Keepers of the Kingdom: Standing Strong in Today's Battle for Truth." Children will learn about the truth of God's Word the Bible, about how much God loves them and about how they can have a forever relationship with Him through faith in Jesus Christ.

Activities will include Bible lessons, songs, outdoor games, indoor crafts, snacks and other fun events. Participants will travel to different stations in groups and will be fully and responsibly supervised throughout the evening.

All family members are invited to attend the free grand finale carnival on June 16. Parents and family members will hear a brief recap of what their children learned and then enjoy the carnival, which will include hot dogs, popcorn, watermelon, carnival games and a dunk tank, where children and their families can enjoy dunking VBS staff.

For additional information or to preregister, call the church office at 717-939-5180 or email info@odbcpa.org. Check for VBS updates at http://www.opendoorbible.church or at the Open Door Bible Church Facebook page.
