Juneteenth Jubilee set

Imani Edu-Tainers African Dance Company and Millersville University's Intercultural Center for Student Engagement invite the public to attend the Juneteenth Jubilee on Saturday, June 17, at 5 p.m. at the Ware Center, 42 N. Prince St., Lancaster.

Cultural vendors will be available from 5 to 8:45 p.m., and the event will also feature food stations and a silent auction from 5 to 6:30 p.m.

At 6:45 p.m., Imani Edu-Tainers will present its 26th annual community concert, "Orun, Aye ati Laarin" - "Heaven, Earth and In-Between." Suitable for people of all ages, the program celebrates the history of traditional West African dance and drum. Over the past 10 months, Imani has collaborated with local and international artists to create this event, which will conclude the organization's 2022-23 season.

VIP ticket holders may attend a Meet the Artists dessert reception at 8:45 p.m.
