In May, the Southern Lancaster County Chamber of Commerce (SLCCC) joined the ribbon-cutting celebration of a new sign welcoming visitors to Quarryville. Participants included SLCCC president Jona Green, Quarryville Mayor Anthony Cavallaro and borough manager Scott Peiffer.

Local businesses and residents who contributed to make the sign a reality included Dick Lefever, Solanco Historical Society, George and Marsha Styles, Rhoadstar Energy, Milky Haven, Solanco Glass & Mirror, Cash and Carry Electrical Supply, C.R. Lapp's Family Restaurant, Shivery Funeral Home, Martin Appliance, Scott Peiffer, Martin Water Conditioning, Martin Furniture and Mattress, Annie Metzler Insurance, Howie Robins, Nancy Minchoff, Tami Shaub and Hostetter Realty and Ken and Cheryl Reimold.

The SLCCC would like to have a second sign installed on Route 222 South near the rails trail underpass. Residents or business owners who would like to contribute to the second sign are asked to contact Shawn Reimold at shawnreimold@yahoo.com for more information or to make a pledge.
