The Delaware Valley Golden Retriever Rescue (DVGRR) will sponsor a golf event fundraiser on Friday, Aug. 4, at Foxchase Golf Club, 300 Stevens Road, Stevens, with registration starting at noon. This event is open to the public, and monies raised will go to support DVGRR's mission of rescuing golden retrievers, doodles, and Labrador retrievers.

The cost per group of four includes green fees, use of two carts, range balls, a gift bag, lunch, dinner, and beer. Lunch will follow registration, and the tournament will begin at 1 p.m. The tournament format is a four-person scramble with a shotgun start, and the event will take place rain or shine. Tournament prizes will include a hole-in-one, longest drive, and closest to the pin.
