Lancaster Mennonite holds commencement

Lancaster Mennonite High School graduated 76 students in a ceremony on June 3 in the school's Calvin and Janet High Fine Arts Center. The event included a commencement address by Michael Wilson, stated clerk of the Presbytery of Donegal and Synod of the Trinity; remarks by superintendent Michael Badriaki and principal Kirk Benner; and the reciting of the graduating class's verse of the year, Colossians 3:12 and 14, by seniors Maggie Will, Bella Zhang, Phuong Thy Le, Darren Lee, Yordanos Getachew and Laura Rosario.

The day before, students Caleb Metzler and Emma Wilson addressed their classmates during a dedication service.

The Class of 2023 was led by Ella Brandt, president; Laura Rosario, vice president; Matthew Goppold, treasurer; and Isaac Greenleaf, secretary.
