The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program is seeking volunteers. VITA provides free tax preparation services for low- to moderate-income taxpayers in the local community over a 12- to 13-week time period from February through mid-April. Volunteers are needed to serve as greeters and tax preparers. The hours are flexible, and no prior experience is necessary.
