The Lancaster Christian Women's Club will hold a "Broken Pieces Mended" luncheon meeting at noon on Wednesday, Aug. 2, at Bent Creek Country Club, 620 Bent Creek Drive, Lititz. Doors will open at 11:30 a.m.

The guest speaker will be Tempe Brown, who is a blues and jazz recording artist, an author, an artist and a former Las Vegas entertainer. She will share her life story, "Putting the Puzzle of Life Together Without the Box Lid."
