Saint Paul Church sets VBS

Saint Paul Episcopal Church, 340 Locust St., Columbia, will offer "Operation Restoration: Mending God's World" vacation Bible school (VBS) from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Monday, July 31, through Thursday, Aug. 3. Designed for children ages 5 through 12, the program will include music, crafts, games and storytelling related to Scripture lessons. Snacks will be provided.

VBS will kick off at 10 a.m. on Sunday, July 30, with a joint worship service at Columbia Crossing, 41 Walnut St., Columbia, on the second-floor patio overlooking the Susquehanna River. The service will focus on feeding God's people. Parishioners from Saint Paul Episcopal Church and Saint Luke Episcopal Church, Mount Joy, along with youths from Saint Paul Episcopal Church, will celebrate the Holy Eucharist. The event will also feature harpist Davie Krak and puppeteer Harley Ludy. The service is open to the public.
