Church of the Apostles invites the community to join in two upcoming events.

The first event will be a concert on Sunday, Aug. 13. Church of the Apostles member Abe Breslin, a guitarist and vocalist, will be featured at 3 p.m. in the pavilion in Rader Park, 1899 Apostle Way, Lancaster. He will perform classic rock and popular hits in an acoustic format. A freewill offering will be received in lieu of tickets. In the event of inclement weather, the event will be moved to the sanctuary at the church.

An ice cream social will take place on Sunday, Aug. 20, from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. in Rader Park's Schellenberger Pavilion. Attendees may enjoy ice cream while hearing from various ministries and ministry partners associated with the Penn Central Conference of the United Church of Christ.
