All seniors age 55 and older are invited to a meeting of Senior Connections at Conestoga Mennonite Church, 2779 Main St., Morgantown, on Thursday, Aug. 10. A lunch will be served at noon, followed by the program.

The guest speakers will be Gareth and Joy Yoder, who founded Cedar Meadow Meats three years ago. They will share about life on the farm and how to balance a small business while maintaining family life.

Joy represents the third generation to work on the family farm, which provides beef to restaurants and the local community. This past winter, the Yoders launched Cedar Meadow Naturals, which is an all-natural tallow line specializing in soaps, lip balm, laundry powder and jarred tallow. After the presentation, a selection of tallow products and beef cuts will be available for purchase.
