The South Hanover Community Band and the Lebanon Community Concert Band will present a joint concert on Friday, Aug. 18, at the South Hanover Amphitheater, 161 Patriot Way, Hershey.

The performance will include "Variations on 'America'" and "Old Home Days" by Charles Ives, an America composer whose music features unexpected dissonances. "Novum Speculum," a new composition by Edward D. Messerschmidt, will also be played, along with "Selections From 'Les Miserables,'" "A Tribute to Harry James" and marches.

Food trucks will be available at 6 p.m., with the concert beginning at 7 p.m.
