The Londonderry Lionettes will meet on Wednesday, Sept. 6, at 1 p.m. at the Londonderry Fire Company, 2655 Foxianna Road, Middletown.

In a presentation titled "Used, But Not Useless," Dale Williams will speak about Lions Clubs International's used eyeglass program. The Lionettes have been participating in this program by collecting used eyeglasses since 2014. To date, 2,533 pairs of eyeglasses have been donated.

Williams has been a member of the Elizabethtown Lions Club for more than 40 years, during which time he has held nearly every office in the club. He served as president twice - in the 1982-83 club year and in the 2002-03 year.
