The DAWGS (Dynamic And Wiggly God Seekers) Kids and Youth Club at Geyers United Methodist Church, 1605 S. Geyers Church Road, Middletown, will begin meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 13. The group meets most Wednesdays from 6:30 to 8 p.m. and is open to everyone from 3-year-olds through teens.

The club year will run through April.

Activities include Bible stories, crafts, games, kitchen projects, science fun, and outdoor fun such as gaga ball and kickball. Throughout the year, attendees enjoy special events such as Trunk or Treat, theme parties, family nights, and an Easter egg hunt.

Preregistration is not required, but parents are asked to complete a registration form on the first night that their child attends. Parents are expected to sign their children in and out each week to help the church ensure their safety. All of the leaders and helpers have completed the state-required clearances to work with children.
