Women invited to Reach Out meeting

Reach Out, a ministry for women of all ages, will resume meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 12, at 9:30 a.m. in the basement of Stony Brook Mennonite Church, located at 15 Locust Grove Road, York.

Reach Out is a program that offers fellowship, spiritual renewal and enrichment for all women. The programs are typically offered the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month from September through May from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. All women are welcome and encouraged to bring a friend.

Programs for 2023-24 will include: Sept. 12 - back to school, featuring games, refreshments and inspiration; Sept. 26 - wicker plate craft; Oct. 10 - to be announced; Oct. 24 - Bethany Miller, who will present a program on wellness and nutrition; Nov. 14 - "Gratitude for Christians" Bible study; and Dec. 12 - Stone Ridge Farm Alpacas.

"Gideon," a video study by Priscilla Shirer, will be featured on Jan. 9 and 23, Feb. 13 and 27, March 12 and 26 and April 9, 2024.

The final meetings in 2024 will be April 23 - Homegrown National Parks by Elizabeth Mills; May 14 - Kerry White, local guitarist and vocalist; and May 28 - end-of-year picnic.
