The Lower Swatara Township Historic Preservation Society will host a presentation on the Union Canal on Thursday, Sept. 21, at 6 p.m. in the community hall at the Lower Swatara Township Firehouse, 1350 Fulling Mill Road, Middletown.

Wade Seibert and Dustin Smith will share information on the Union Canal, a towpath canal that existed in southeastern Pennsylvania during the 19th century.
