Hope Served, a nonprofit founded in 2021, will host an awareness session on Thursday, Sept. 21, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Community Church of Manheim building at 201 W. High St., Manheim. Hope Served representatives will share their vision and allow time for questions and feedback. Light refreshments will be available.

Hope Served plans to purchase and renovate the Community Church of Manheim building to develop jobs and community for people with disabilities in Manheim and surrounding communities. The organization's dream is a world where people of all abilities work together to promote dignity and solidarity, along with the erasure of biases.
