Hershey Area Neighbors and Newcomers Club (HANNC) will meet at the Hershey Public Library, 701 Cocoa Ave., Hershey, at 10:15 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 12.

The guest speaker will be Christine Drexler, founder of Cocoa Packs in Hershey. Attendees will hear about the impact the organization has made on the welfare of the children it has assisted over the years.

HANNC meets on the second Thursday of the month from September to April. Guests are welcome.
