CrossRoads Ministries to offer class

CrossRoads Ministries, 1801 Fruitville Pike, Lancaster, is offering "Equipped to Counsel," an eight-week class divided into two four-week segments, for professionals and laypeople who want to be able to counsel from a spiritual perspective.

The content will focus on understanding challenging disorders from a spiritual/ scriptural perspective. Topics will include sexual abuse, self-harm, eating disorders, sexual addiction and teen sex addiction.

There will also be a follow-up four-week segment (upon request) for those desiring a greater understanding of professional team development from a spiritual/scriptural perspective. Topics will include self-care, individual boundaries, team boundaries and developing a team.

The first segment of classes will be held on Tuesdays, Oct. 24, through Nov. 14, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Space is limited to 10 people. There will be a fee for the first four classes. The schedule for the second segment (upon request) will be determined at a later date.
