Mount Joy Rotary honors students

The Donegal High School Counseling Office and Career Resource Center has announced that Hannah Slobozien and Bradley Manges are the Mount Joy Rotary Students of the Month for September. They will be honored by members of the Mount Joy Rotary during the organization's monthly luncheon meeting.

Hannah, the daughter of Jason and Sarah Slobozien of Marietta, is the president of the Math Honor Society and Donegal Performing Arts, as well as a member of the tennis and track and field teams, Key Club, chess club, National Honor Society and peer tutoring program. She was previously a member of Student Council and the Pathways Ambassadors College Advising Club. She also serves as an officer and leader for the debate club and the prayer group. Outside of school, Hannah attends youth group at Community Bible Church and serves on the youth group's worship team. She is also a member of the worship team at Calvary Bible Church. After graduation, she plans to attend college to study communications and then attend law school, with the goal of becoming an attorney.

Bradley, the son of Danny and Kirsten Manges of Mount Joy, is a member of the German Club, in which he has served as president and treasurer; Donegal Performing Arts, for which he assisted backstage; debate club; and GSA. He was also a peer tutor. Outside of school, Bradley likes to research topics such as mathematics, economics, chemistry and psychology. After graduation, he plans to attend college to major in secondary education.
