"Organ Spooktacular" event planned

Arts on the Square will present an "Organ Spooktacular: Masquerade Ball" on Friday, Oct. 20, at 7:30 p.m. at Market Square Presbyterian Church, 20 S. Second St., Harrisburg. This event will offer a mixture of spooky and fun organ music, a mystery tale, comedy, drama, and dancing.

Tyler Canonico, Arts on the Square artistic director, and organ scholar Ethan Draper will perform music on the organ, including Bach's Toccata in D Minor, a jig, and a waltz. The program will also include dances by students of The Studio in Enola, songs by baritone Jordan Markham, and musical numbers by The Market Square Singers.

Parking is available in the public Market Square Garage, adjacent to the church. Attendees may enter the church directly from the first level of the garage or use the events entrance on Second Street. The church is fully handicapped-accessible.

Attendees are asked to dress for a masquerade ball or wear an eye mask. Seating is limited, so early reservations are suggested. Tickets are discounted in advance and full price at the door, with an additional discount for students. To purchase tickets, visit http://www.marketsquarechurch.org/concerts.
