Program to focus on climate action plans

Manada Conservancy will present a program, "A Path Forward: Local Climate Action," on Thursday, Nov. 2, at 7 p.m. in the conservatory at the Hershey Gardens, 170 Hotel Road, Hershey.

Pennsylvania recently adopted a statewide Climate Action Plan to reduce emissions. In this panel-style presentation, attendees will hear about the new plan and how local townships can use tools to create their own climate action plans. The panelists will include Andrew Geronimo from the Derry Township Climate Change Advisory Committee, Brandi Robinson from Penn State University, and Christopher Nafe from the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection.

The program is free. For more details and registration information, visit http://www.manada.org.
