School posts crafting event

The Donegal High School Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) will host its first Fall Crop and Craft event on Friday, Nov. 10, from 4 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 11, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The event aims to offer an opportunity for crafters of all levels to work on their projects in an enjoyable environment with good lighting. Local scrapbookers, artists, fiber artists, and crafters are invited to attend. The school's chapter of the National Art Honor Society will provide mini breakout sessions of 10 to 15 minutes to teach basic art or crafting skills.

The proceeds will benefit student scholarships to attend FBLA competitions and state leadership workshops and conferences; the school store; and other events.

There is a fee for both days and a lower fee to attend on Saturday only. There is a discount if an attendee refers a friend who then registers for the event. The fee includes a pizza and salad dinner on Friday and a soup and sub lunch on Saturday.
