St. Anthony Church plans Christmas bazaar

St. Anthony of Padua Church will hold its Christmas Bazaar on Saturday, Nov. 11, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and on Sunday, Nov. 12, after the 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. Masses. The bazaar will take place in the cafeteria of Resurrection Catholic School at 521 E. Orange St., Lancaster.

The theme this year is "Christmas in America," and the event will feature free cake and coffee for veterans and a prayer service by the Rev. Matthew Morelli at 11 a.m. Attendees may personalize special ornaments for a Memory Tree to remember loved ones. The tree will be placed in the church through the end of November.

Shoppers may browse wreath and garden items, trim-a-tree items, crafts, religious items, gift shop items, gift baskets, baked goods and jewelry. Food will be offered, including egg rolls, soup, sandwiches, and treats.

The bazaar will also feature giveaway drawings. Tickets will be available for purchase after Masses at St. Anthony the last weekend in October. Winning tickets will be drawn at 1 p.m. on Nov. 11. Ticket holders do not need to be present to win.
