Library posts programs

The Eastern Lancaster County (ELANCO) Library, 11 Chestnut Drive, New Holland, will offer a variety of events and programs to the community. Registration is not required, unless noted. For details, visit http://www.elancolibrary.org or contact 717-354-0525 or adagostino@elancolibrary.org.

The library offers various activities regularly. In November, these will include Music and Movement, for children birth to age 6 with a parent or caregiver, on Saturday, Nov. 4, at 10:30 a.m.; Readers' Roundtable Book Discussion on Monday, Nov. 6, at 2 p.m.; Lego Creation Club on Thursday, Nov. 9, at 6 p.m.; Hooks and Needles: Yarn Craft Club, for people of all ages who knit or crochet, on Monday, Nov. 13, at 6:30 p.m.; On the Same Page Teen Book Club on Tuesday, Nov. 28, at 3 p.m.; Preschool Story Time, for children ages 3 to 6, every Tuesday in November at 10:30 a.m.; and Toddler Thursdays, for children ages 1 to 3, every Thursday in November, except Nov. 23, at 10:30 a.m. In November, "Feathered Friends" will be the topic of Preschool Story Time and Toddler Thursdays; siblings are welcome to join in.

Read with Pepper the Pup! will take place on Nov. 4 at 2 p.m. Children of all ages accompanied by a parent or other caregiver may read aloud to Pepper the Labrador retriever.

Knowledge Is Delicious: Teen Potluck and Trivia will be offered on Tuesday, Nov. 14, at 4 p.m. People age 12 and up will gather for a trivia night focusing on nutrition, health, and the human digestive system. Attendees are asked to bring a healthy snack to share.

Introduction to Pennie.com and Health Insurance in Pennsylvania will be presented on Monday, Nov. 20, at 6 p.m. Judy Wechter, outreach coordinator for Pennie.com, will share information about health insurance options in Pennsylvania, reducing health insurance costs, and the Pennie.com insurance exchange.

Patrick Deibler Presents will occur on Thursday, Nov. 30 at 6 p.m. Local attorney Patrick A. Deibler from Kling, Deibler & Glick will speak about estate planning, family law, and more. Time will be allotted for questions.
