Isaacson to speak at Chiques Church

Women of all ages and preschool children are invited to attend Neighbors Sharing and Caring, a women's ministry of the Chiques Church, 4045 Sunnyside Road, Manheim, on Tuesday, Nov. 7, from 9 to 10:45 a.m.

The speaker will be Eleanor Isaacson. She was born in the U.S., and at age 2, she was taken to Germany and left there with a widowed aunt. Isaacson lived in Germany throughout the Hitler regime, experiencing bombings, invasions and starvation. At age 13, she returned alone to the U.S. and reunited with her mother. Since that time, Eleanor has had many careers, such as professional singer, fashion model and insurance agent. She also is an artist, a fashion designer, a home decorator and a gourmet cook.

Classes will be provided for children from infants through prekindergartners. Readers may contact Bonnie at 717-361-2613 or Veronica at 717-626-7603 for more information and a copy of this year's schedule.
