Pequea Valley Intermediate School, 166 S. New Holland Road, Kinzers, will host its annual Veterans Day event on Friday, Nov. 10, from noon to 3 p.m. The school invites local veterans to attend.

The event will include a catered luncheon and an assembly, during which the school band will play taps. Participants will also perform a medley of the official songs of the various branches of the armed forces. To conclude, veterans will meet with small groups of students, offering the opportunity for the veterans to tell their stories and answer questions from the students. Military vehicles will be in the parking lot for students and veterans to explore.
