HSCV to sell holiday cards, poinsettias

The Historical Society of the Cocalico Valley (HSCV) announced its annual seasonal card sale for 2023. Featured on this year's card is a peaceful snow scene of the Theodore R. Sprecher Museum captured by Don Reese. Located in the 1868 Connell Mansion, the museum tells the history of the Cocalico Valley. Cards will be sold in packets of 10. The supply is limited to 40 packets.

The HSCV will also sell 6-and-one-half inch poinsettias. Color choices are red, white and white glitter (red leaves with splashes of white) and come with a festive foil pot cover.

Greeting cards and poinsettias are both being sold via preorder by calling Deb Martin at 717-466-0885. Orders can be picked up at the HSCV Library Education Room, 237 W. Main St., Ephrata, on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 1 and 2, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
