LSO, chorus to present "Messiah"

Due to overwhelming demand following last year's performances, the Lancaster Symphony Orchestra (LSO) and the Lancaster Symphony Chorus have announced an encore presentation of Handel's "Messiah." The concerts will once again take place at the historic First Presbyterian Church, 140 E. Orange St., Lancaster, featuring LSO chorusmaster William Wright as the conductor.

Performances will be held on Friday, Dec. 1, at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 2, at 2:30 and 7:30 p.m. This year the LSO and chorus will be joined by soloists Amy Nicole Broadbent, soprano; Maren Montalbano, alto; Tyler Tejada, tenor; and Damian Savaron, bass.

Last year's sold-out concerts marked the LSO's first full orchestra and chorus rendition of "Messiah."
