Jacklyn Martin of Strasburg attended and presented research at the Southeast Regional Meeting of the American Chemical Society (SERMACS 2023) in Durham, N.C. Martin presented a poster titled "Developing an IL-1 Electrochemical Sensor and Integrating with a Fetal Membrane on a Chip," based on research completed during a summer REU at Vanderbilt University.

Martin, a graduate of Lampeter-Strasburg High School, is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in chemistry in ACS chemistry and a Bachelor of Science in physics at LVC.
