Florin Church of the Brethren (COB), 815 Bruce Ave., Mount Joy, will host a Breakfast Bowl event on Saturday, Nov. 18, at 9 a.m. The menu includes scrambled eggs, sausage, hash browns, pancakes, fruit, muffins, coffee and juice. A short devotional will be offered after the meal.

Information will be presented about Mount Joy Helping Services, which offers a food bank to the local community. The organization has served people in need for more than 40 years.

The event is free and open to the public, and reservations are not required. Free parking is available. Attendees should enter the facility through the carport double doors.
