"Christmas at Kraybill" planned

Kraybill Mennonite School will host the fifth annual Christmas at Kraybill Craft Fair and Celebration on Saturday, Nov. 18, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The community event helps to support local artisans and crafters along with raising funds for special programs at Kraybill.

Christmas at Kraybill will feature more than 45 local artisans, crafters and vendors, many of which will sell handmade items such as hand-turned wooden bowls and other wood carved items, jewelry, quilts, ornaments, home decor, local honey, and children's toys and books. The event will also include horse-drawn wagon rides and gingerbread cookie kits containing individually wrapped gingerbread cookies with icing and assorted candies for decorating.

The second annual brisket and chili cook-off will take place during the craft fair. Gene Wenger's Meats and Fine Foods in Elizabethtown has donated 100 pounds of brisket for the cook-off. Attendees may purchase tasting tickets at the event and vote for their favorite brisket and chili.
