The community is invited to visit the Friendship Heart Gallery & Studio, 118 N. Water St., Suite 101, Lancaster, for Small Business Saturday on Nov. 25 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. All matted and framed paintings and Primitives by Kathy home decor items will be 15% off.

Also on Nov. 25, the gallery will host Cookies with Santa from 2 to 5 p.m. The drop-in event will feature hot beverages, cookies, crafts for all ages and a visit from one of the Heart Artists as Santa Claus.

For shoppers who are unable to make it out on Small Business Saturday, they can shop online from Friday, Nov. 24, to Monday, Nov. 27, and receive 15% off Primitives by Kathy home decor items.

The Friendship Heart Gallery & Studio, an extension of Friendship Community, is a nonprofit art studio for artists with intellectual disabilities and autism. With more than 60 Heart Artists between two studios, the mission is to encourage the artists to share their innermost thoughts, feelings and dreams with the world through their creativity. The gallery's vision statement is "Expressing Capabilities."

Friendship Community is a faith-based organization, which has been dedicated to cultivating capabilities of individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism since 1972. In addition to the arts day program, it offers a home-based service program and 24 residential homes within Lancaster and Lebanon counties.
