Recording artist David Phelps will perform in concert on Sunday, Dec. 10, at 3 p.m. at Lancaster Mennonite School, 2176 Lincoln Highway East, Lancaster. This event will be a stop on the "It Must Be Christmas" tour.

Once a child musical prodigy from Tomball, Texas, Phelps earned a bachelor's degree in music from Baylor University. He is the tenor for the multiple Grammy and Dove Award-winning Gaither Vocal Band. He has performed at numerous prestigious venues around the globe, including the White House, New York's Carnegie Hall and the Sydney Opera House in Australia.

This year's "It Must Be Christmas" tour will mark the 24th annual Christmas tour featuring Phelps and will include a dozen concerts he will perform with his musical entourage throughout the holiday season. Many of the songs to be performed are included on Phelps' "It Must Be Christmas" recording. The concerts will also include renditions of classics like "Angels We Have Heard on High" and "Go Tell It on the Mountain," along with new songs like "Fall on Your Knees," "Christmas Rush" and "Anthem of the Lord."
