Students named Attollo Scholars

Twenty-three students at Elizabethtown Area High School have completed the Children Deserve a Chance Foundation's Attollo Recruit Program and have been selected to become Attollo Scholars for the 2023-24 academic year. A small recognition ceremony was held on Nov. 8.

The Attollo Scholar Program seeks to empower success-oriented students from diverse backgrounds, equipping them with the necessary tools and support to thrive in their academic and professional pursuits. Attollo Scholars receive a range of benefits, such as comprehensive college preparation, including SAT/ACT test preparation and college application support; one-on-one mentorship from experienced professionals who guide them throughout their academic journey; leadership development opportunities; access to resources and connections in various fields and industries; and a supportive community of like-minded peers.

The new Attollo Scholars are Dylan Bell, Ayla Bradley, Abigail Breault, Liam Burke, Grace Caldwell, Kendall Erdman, Reagan Flory, Reagan Gober, Amir Haas, Addyson Hackman, Nicholas Houck, Edel Kedir, Nicholas Manton, Kisiah Myers, Taryn Pantanella, Piper Patrick, Anna Rank, Natalie Rodriguez, Parker Schraff, Ella Stricker, Vincent Tang, Kylie Tobias, and Brody Yakscoe.

The completion of the Attollo Recruit Program served as the pivotal step toward becoming an Attollo Scholar. Over the course of this six-week journey, students explored the Children Deserve a Chance Foundation's six pillars: strong mind, competition, resiliency, accountability, sacrifice, and finish strong. Throughout the Recruit program, they engaged in self-inquiry through introspection and reflection, undertook complex tasks, and shared their stories.
