Church plans Parents' Night Out

Wayside Presbyterian Church, 600 Stony Battery Road, Landisville, will host Parents' Night Out on Friday, Dec. 8, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Open to kids in kindergarten through 12th grade, the event was created for parents needing a break or hoping to do Christmas shopping. Attendees will take part in ornament making, playing games, eating food and more. The event is free, but space is limited. Registration is required at http://www.waysidepc.org.

Christmas Eve candlelight services will be offered on Sunday, Dec. 24, at 5:30 p.m. A contemporary service featuring the praise band will begin, and a traditional service featuring the choir will start at 7 p.m. Both programs will include lighting of candles and singing "Silent Night."

On Sundays, Wayside offers a traditional worship service featuring the choir at 9 a.m. and a contemporary service with the house band, Grace Notes, along with children and youth ministries, at 10:30 a.m. Additional opportunities, including those for children and youths, are also offered.
