A concert titled "Comfort and Joy - Celebrate Christmas with LaLaLuna" will take place on Friday, Dec. 15, at 7:30 p.m. at East Chestnut Street Mennonite Church, 432 E. Chestnut St., Lancaster.

The program will include arrangements of well-known carols, as well as newer music in styles from pop to folk to jazz. The members of LaLaLuna are Claire Brandenburg, Cathy Cruz, Cindy Herr, Stephanie Horst, Debby Spence, Cyd Stayrook, Tabea Steinbeisser-Fitz, Stephanie Zimmerman, and accompanist Gretchen Thomas.

Admission is free, but attendees are asked to bring items for hygiene kits. Needed items include individually packaged toothbrushes for adults; large bars of bath soap in the original wrapper; good-quality nail clippers; medium-weight hand towels, preferably in dark or bright colors; and wide-toothed combs. Cash donations will also be accepted. Attendees are welcome to stay after the concert to help assemble the kits, which will be distributed by Mennonite Central Committee wherever there is a need in the world.
