Lighthouse Assembly of God will host a community Christmas event on Sunday, Dec. 17, at Garden Spot High School, 669 E. Main St., New Holland. Doors will open at 9:15 a.m., and a worship service will start at 10 a.m.

The celebration will include live music, kids' ministry activities for children up to age 5, Amazon gift card giveaways and opportunities for a photographer to capture family Christmas portraits. After the service, the church will offer Christmas cookies and a hot cocoa bar. The event is free and open to the public.
