Students of the Month honored

Paradise Rotary Club has honored the Students of the Month for December. Students are recommended for this honor by their school's guidance department or principal or a faculty or staff member on the basis of significant achievement as well as good character and citizenship.

The honorees are juniors Sydney Conlin from Conestoga Valley High School and Annabelle Reber from Pequea Valley High School.

Annabelle is the daughter of Ashley James of Kinzers. She is vice president of FFA, historian for Student Council, a chairperson for Mini-THON, the stage manager for school plays and musicals and a member of National Honor Society, the Spring Fling committee, and Chamber Singers. She was a team leader of the Pequea Valley agricultural communications team, which went to FFA Nationals in Indianapolis; there, the team placed silver, and Annabelle individually earned gold. Annabelle is involved in the Lancaster Chamber Mentor Program.

Sydney is the daughter of Sharon Conlin of Lancaster. She is a member of National Honor Society, Mock Trial, Science National Honor Society, yearbook club, marching band and indoor color guard. She is a participant in youth group, a senior altar server and a counselor for Schreiber Center for Pediatric Development.
