Organists plan Christmas concert

The Lancaster Chapter of the American Guild of Organists will present its annual Christmas carol and organ concert event on Friday, Dec. 29, at 7 p.m. at Lititz Church of the Brethren, 300 W. Orange St., Lititz. The concert is titled "Christmas at the Organ."

Attendees will be invited to sing along on some Christmas carols, and the program will also feature festive organ arrangements of carols. Tunes will include "O Come, All Ye Faithful," "Go, Tell It on the Mountain," "O Little Town of Bethlehem," "Infant Holy," and "Joy to the World." Local organists scheduled to participate include Jonathan Jones, Eileen Lawrence, Greg Gehman, John Huber, Mark Herr, Jaden Espenshade, Margaret Marsch, Ross Ellison, and John Zielinski, who will play a piece he composed.
