Pequea Valley's girls' basketball team, under head coach Jason McDonald and assistant coach Ed Lapp, collected its eighth win of the season and was the only Lancaster-Lebanon League team to win both the tip-off and holiday tournaments when it defeated Brandywine Heights 42-33 to capture the Brandywine Heights Holiday Tournament on Dec. 28. Pequea Valley opened the tourney with a 71-34 trouncing of Mast Community Charter.
