Activities planned at Lancaster Science Factory

Lancaster Science Factory, at 454 New Holland Ave., has posted upcoming programs, including two hands-on STEM classes. These classes will be presented as four-session series so that students can dive deeper into subjects and undertake more complex projects.

3D Printing with Tinkercad will take place at 4 p.m. on Tuesdays, Jan. 16, Jan. 23, Jan. 30 and Feb. 6. This class is for students in grades three through eight.

Discovering Dinosaurs will be offered at 4 p.m. on Wednesdays, Jan. 17, Jan. 24, Jan. 31 and Feb. 7. This class is for children in kindergarten through fifth grade.

On Friday, Jan. 12, Lancaster Science Factory will close at 4 p.m. for its staff holiday party.

Interactive activities will be available at the Science Cafe on Tuesday, Jan. 23, from 10 a.m. to noon. The activities are free with admission.

Eurofins Lancaster Labs will present chemistry magic shows in the Science Cafe on Saturday, Jan. 27, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The shows are free with admission.
