Sailor, a 7-year-old beagle mix who is around 37 pounds, is currently available for adoption from Lucky Dawg Animal Rescue (LDAR). His dad recently passed away and he is too big for his mom, who is older and is unable to to handle him on her own. 

Sailor has not lived with any dogs or cats, but he has had doggie family house guests and did well after a few days of warming up.  Sailor is neutered, vaccinated and chipped; loves car rides; is great with children; and rings a bell when he needs to go outside.
