Women invited to Bible studies

Change of Pace Central has announced its winter women's Bible studies. The gatherings will take place on Thursdays from 9 to 11:30 a.m. from Jan. 25 to March 28 at Lancaster Alliance Church, 210 Pitney Road, Lancaster. Two studies will be available, and copies of the books will be available for purchase on the first day.

"What Does It Mean To Be Chosen?" by Amanda and Dallas Jenkins is based on season one of the television show "The Chosen." Each session correlates to an episode of the show. Attendees will examine both the Old and New Testaments, exploring the life of Jesus and His choosing of disciples. Those gathered for the study will watch the episode together as a group and then break into smaller groups for discussion.

"Fully Alive" by Susie Larson focuses on the ways emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being are intertwined. Viewing holistic health from a Christian perspective, Larson shares biblical ways to replace defeating thoughts with redemptive ones, overcome stress by embracing God's peace, and more.

A freewill offering will be received each week. Preregistration is suggested but not required; to register, email copcbiblestudies@gmail.com. Child care will be provided, and homeschoolers are welcome. Children must be registered.

Change of Pace Central is a non-denominational women's bible study, sponsored by Friendship Foundation Inc. It is celebrating its 50th anniversary. For more information, visit http://www.facebook.com/changeofpacewomensbiblestudy.
