Women of all ages and preschool children are invited to attend Neighbors Sharing and Caring, a women's ministry of the Chiques Church, 4045 Sunnyside Road, Manheim, on Tuesday, Jan. 23, from 9 to 10:45 a.m.

Brenda Kocher will speak on "The Power of Your Prayer." Kocher's prayer life changed when her two sons were deployed to war zones. Since then, she has been on a journey to learn all she can about prayer. In her presentation, she will talk about the power of intercessory prayer and the Hebrew word that is used for intercession in the Old Testament. Attendees are encouraged to bring their Bibles. The program will also include an opportunity to share testimony of answered prayers.

In addition to her spouse and sons, Kocher has two daughters-in-law and six grandchildren. She is a former sign language interpreter, owner of a needlework design business and antiques dealer. Her main focus is women's ministry and a commitment to prayer.
