Jazz trumpeter, vocalist, and composer Jumaane Smith will present "Louis! Louis! Louis!" on Friday, Feb. 16, at 7:30 p.m. at the Ware Center, 42 N. Prince St., Lancaster. Celebrating the origins of jump blues and jazz, the performance features classics from Louis Armstrong, Louis Prima, and Louis Jordan, along with music Jumaane composed especially for this show.

Smith has performed on five Grammy Award-winning records, in two Emmy Award-nominated TV performances, at the Grammy Awards with Stevie Wonder and in Steven Spielberg's "West Side Story." He has spent the last 17 years touring and recording with Michael Buble as lead trumpeter and vocalist, and he has toured with his own band as well.
