Comets stun Crest; Benne reaches 1,000 pts

- Despite a 140-21 loss to the Black Knights Tuesday, January 22, Penn Manor’s Derek Thomas claimed fourth place in the 500 and 200 freestyle events as well as the 100 backstroke.

- In Manor’s 65-49 upset of visiting Cedar Crest Tuesday, January 23, the Comets’ Julienne Severino draws a foul against Leo Tirado. Severino finished with 13 points.

Young to the hoop with 2:39 left in the third quarter of Tuesday’s January 23, 65-49 upset of visiting Cedar Crest. Benne is the first 1,000 point scorer since Jordan Gibbs in 2007.
