The York County Solid Waste Authority (YCSWA) has elected officers for 2024. They are Patrick Ball, chairperson; Felicia Dell, vice chairperson; John Klinedinst, secretary; Chick Renn, treasurer; and Tim Malinky, assistant secretary/treasurer.

The members of the YCSWA board are appointed for five-year terms. The nine volunteer members constitute the official policy-making body of YCSWA. Associate members may serve in a training capacity to prepare for a role as a member; once membership is attained, they assume full voting privileges.

YCSWA also made the annual appointments of CGA Law Firm solicitor and Reinsel Kuntz Lesher as auditor.

The YCSWA board meets on the third Wednesday in January, March, May, July, September and November at 6:30 p.m. in Conference Room A of the YCSWA's Management Center, 2700 Black Bridge Road, York. The meetings are open to the public.
