New Beginnings Church of the Cross

1 Penn Ave, Christiana. Sunday morning worship will take place at 10 a.m. and then attendees may enjoy a free smorgasbord-style meal. The church is located between Newport Avenue and Pine Street, two blocks from the light at Route 41 and Pine Creek Drive.

Gateway Church

160 Cowan Road, Parkesburg, 6:30 to 8 p.m. The topic will be "Anger." GriefShare, which is facilitated by Paul and Twila Ranck, is a free support group for those who have experienced the death of a family member or friend. Meetings will run every Tuesday through April 9.

Feb. 25. Seniors Luncheon

Penningtonville Presbyterian Church

406 Main St., Atglen, noon to 2 p.m. The event will feature a free meal and fun activities. Anyone age 62 and over is invited to attend. Participants are asked to register by calling the church office at 610-593-2173 by Wednesday, Feb. 21.

10 W. Slokom Ave. Christiana, 6:30 p.m. Herb Fisher will present a program about the history of the trolley line that ran from Lancaster to Christiana. The community is welcome.

March 2. Italian Dinner Fundraiser

Russellville Junior Grange

245 Old Limestone Road, Oxford, 4 p.m. until sold out.  The menu will include a pasta bar with spaghetti/rigatoni/fettuccini pastas, spaghetti squash, marinara/Bolognese/alfredo sauces, homemade meatballs, garlic bread, salad bar, homemade desserts and a beverage.  Diners may eat in or take their meals to-go.
