Senior and junior high school students are invited to apply for the Experience LIVE Conference at Rock Lititz, a one-day experience showcasing the various skill sets needed to create large-scale live productions. The event will take place on Thursday, April 25, from 8:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Since the launch of Live Event Career Exploration Conferences at Rock Lititz in 2018, the campus has hosted more than 3,000 high school students, college students, and young professionals looking to learn about careers in live events on campus. These educational, immersive days provide a deep look at live event specialties, with access to gear demonstrations, conversations with industry professionals, and direct interaction with industry employers. The event seeks to offer an overview of the diverse, creative industry that blends art and technology for audiences around the world. This year, the conference series returns with its new name, Experience LIVE Conference for High School Students.

Applications and instructions are available at http://www.careerday.rocklititz.com. Applications will be accepted through Friday, March 8, and attendance is limited to 300 students.

A similar Experience LIVE Conference targeted toward college students and young professionals is slated for Nov. 8. The 2023 college conference was presented in part by Ryan Aviation, which arranges air travel for the live event industry and beyond. In addition to Ryan Aviation's sponsorship of the Experience LIVE Conference, the company's donation helped launch LiveX, the Industry Engagement Fund for Live Experience Design and Production. LiveX is a program created in partnership with the Academy of Live Technology at Rock Lititz and the Pennsylvania College of Art and Design, training students for careers in the entertainment industry. The fund will help support travel costs for students to engage in real life experiences at festivals, concerts, and more.
